Biodefenders Agricultural Women Association (BAWA) aims at supporting women in agricultural value chain to improve productivity and market to ensure self-sufficient at family level. Women play a pivotal role at family and community level by ensuring members have access to basic needs. Through this association, women will be empowered and capacitated to cultivate crops with commercial value through using modern technologies and processing produce to add value, connect to the market to generate income for sustaining the need of family and contribute to national economic development. This association aims at empowering women farmers to learn and develop new skills in managing agribusiness and should be in a position to know what crops to grow, how to handle and store, how and where to sell crops.
